Stefanich most graciously joined us that evening to honor Dr. Lippman and to show their support for the PeerPals.org mission. Last night was amazing thanks to our wonderful dinner chairperson, Cathy Welsh. From the raffle prizes to the silent auction down to the arrangement of the room, Cathy's attention to detail made for an event that was warm and welcoming. She set the tone for a fun night. Another reason the dinner was so memorable was our honoree, Nancy Lippman Israeli. We are so proud to have her as our first Community Champion. We are even more proud to have her dedication to our mission recognized by the Town Board of the Town of Oyster Bay, Nassau County Executive Edward Mangano, Assemblyman Charles Lavine and Congresswoman Carolyn McCarthy. I also want to thank Agnes Musi and Gail Singer, both mothers of pals in our program, who so generously shared their experiences with PeerPals.org.
