Thank you Marine Corps Toys for Tots!

Today was an amazing day at the PeerPals.org office in Oyster Bay!  The U.S. Marine Corps Toys for Tots program provided $10,000 worth of sensory friendly toys and outfitted a state of the art Sensory Room.  The generosity of the Toys for Tots program has allowed us to expand the opportunities we can offer to the families we serve.  Not only do we match pals for individual play dates in their own communities and host group play dates in developmentally appropriate settings, we now offer small group play dates in our own sensory friendly play space.  Thank you to SSgt. Quinton and LCpl O'Neill, who came to play with some of our pals!  Thanks, too, Town of Oyster Bay Supervisor, Joseph Saladino and Councilman Louis Imbroto for joining us as we dedicated our new Sensory Room and to Father Alex Tosi for his blessing on our new play space.
